BRIDGES: What’s God got to do with Mental Health?

During Thrive Month at UBC we will be hosting a very special edition of BRIDGES on the topic of “What’s God got to do with Mental Health?” Our speaker will be Matthew Martin-Ellis. Matthew is a writer, speaker and advocate for the vulnerable, in particular those suffering from mental illness. Learn more about Matthew here.

The event will be held at The Burrow on Wednesday, November 20th from 7:00-8:30pm. This is a free event and all are welcome, you do not need to be a UBC student or community member to attend.

ABOUT BRIDGES:

This year we are launching a new series of conversations called “BRIDGES.” The purpose of BRIDGES is to help students think about how God and spirituality connects with different facets of life. All of the talks focus on a variant of the question, “What does God have to do with [fill in the blank]?” We have inviting a number of exciting speakers to address a number of important topics.
